Dancing Mickey is the toy to own this year. We were in Toys'R'Us the other day and there was a lot of commotion in the store. We rushed over to see what it was. That was the first time I saw dancing Mickey trapped behind a glass case, performing as if he was in a museum's exhibit. While in the store we watched kids of all ages come up and be mesmerized by Fisher-Price's Dance Star Mickey. I couldn't but help but get caught up in the mass hysteria. In all my years of existence, I have never seen a toy move with such incredible realism. The next time I went back to the store I just had to puchase it for my niece. I can't wait to see her face light up on Christmas morning. Dancing Mickey will bring smiles and giggles to anybody's face.

Everybody's favorite mouse has become a Dance Star with the new dancing Mickey plush toy from Fisher-Price. Dancing toys before used to just shake or move stiffly. The new dancing Mickey moves with unprecedented realism. Mickey walks, turns, sings, dances, and even performs a slick little Moonwalk. You have never seen a toy move with this level of realism. This is clearly the must-have toy of the Christmas 2011 season if you can fork over the money for it.

There are 6 different songs and dances. Everything from Latin to Techno to Mambo. Couple of the featured songs are the soulful "Get Up Offa That Tail" and the throwback "Shake Your Groove Thang" and everyone's favorite “M To The I”. The fun doesn’t stop there. There is even a game mode that features two fun interactive games called “Mickey Says” and “Freeze.” Kids are going to go absolutely bananas for this toy. Parents -- if your kids love Mickey Mouse, don’t wait too long to purchase dancing Mickey because this toy is expected to be hard to find this holiday season.

There are two basic modes of play that are either activated witth the Left hand or Left foot.

Dance Mode

Pressing Mickey's foot will bring dancing Mickey to life and he will randomly perform one of six captivating dances.

Game Mode

Pressing dancing Mickey's hand will make him spring to life and play two fun games.

Mickey Says is basically a game of Simon Says. You follow along only when Mickey Says to.

Freeze Dance has you moving and grooving with a freestyle dance when dancing Mickey says "Go", but you must Freeze when he says "Stop".

If you love Mickey Mouse whether you're young or old, you will be thrilled with this amazing toy. The toy is specifically designed for kids from age 18 months and up. However, given the amazing popularity of Mickey Mouse, the dancing Mickey toy has much broader appeal. Mickey mouse fans and toy collectors of all ages will want their very own Dance Star Mickey.

Dancing Mickey is very hard to find at retail stores. Stores are selling out quickly even after being restocked. Going on a wild goose chase for the most-sought-after toy this year is not exactly my idea of fun. Plus, for for the holidays parking is an absolute nightmare! You can buy Dancing Mickey on Amazon. At the moment they include free shipping and from what I can tell when comparing prices with other merchants, Amazon does currently have the best deal, especially with the free shipping. I especially like not having to pay tax. Additionally, by purchasing online, you'll also be saving money on gas.

Dancing Mickey is receiving rave reviews from just about everybody on the net. It is averaging a perfect score on Amazon.
